Better ways to tastier sponge cakes

I have made several cakes but yet the sponge cakes are always my favourite of all the cakes i have tasted.The best fact about them is they are very easy to be made and so tasty to eat.The components needed for the preparation of a sponge cake are eggs,sugar,flour and the baking powder if you need it to add to the mixture.To all the cakes i prepare i usually do not add the baking powder to the mixture.A better way to make the sponge cakes is to let the air that is trapped by beating the ingredients make the cake spongy.

Start the preparation of sponge cakes by beating the eggs along with the sugar.It is also a normal process to separate the whites and the yolks of the eggs and then to beat the yolks along with the sugar.I normally dont separate the whites and the yolks.It is your choice though.After getting a creamy mixture stop the beating process and now you can add the flour to the mixture and mix them well.After mixing them pour it into a tin and then bake it.One thing you need to remember during making a sponge cakes is that all the utensils and tools that you use should be very clean and especially should be void of all the fatty substances.It is better to use the dish bar and especially the lime juice to remove any substances sticking onto it.It will be great if you turn the cakes into different shapes to impress your family and also try to add almonds and cashews to the cakes.Chop them and then add them to the cakes .
